Imagiam's Lenticular Eff**ects 3.0 Pro w/Virtua3D is a state of the art lenticular imaging tool. Utilizing this software and Photoshop you can create 3D images that look volumetric (true 3D) from your 2D photographs or graphics.

Lenticular printing is an exciting new process that requires no special glasses or stereo viewer to view amazing 3D images on a 2D print. How is this possible? Well, in effect, the glasses are placed on the print via a layer of tiny, plano-convex, cylindrical lenses.

When used with the lenses running vertically a 3D picture will be displayed because each eye will see a different view of the scene. Turn the lenses so they run horizontally and they can be used to display a very, short animation or video clip. Usually this application implies a hand-held card so that the card may be rotated slightly back and forth on it's horizontal axis to view the animation.

**Imagiam's Lenticular Effects is the only software you will need to create 3D images, flips, animations, and combinations of all three. The process of producing Lenticular 3D Images has to date been a somewhat arcane art, involving many separate aspects of graphic design, image manipulation, understanding of 3D, and the use of high tech software and hardware. Only fairly recently has it been possible to produce lenticular images on anything other than lithographic presses or photographic processes for high volume production runs. The advent of the high quality inkjet, continuous tone and laser printers has brought the low volume lenticular print run within the reach of the home or small business user.

****The astounding power of Lenticular Effects is in the Virtua 3D module. Virtua 3D can read layered Photoshop .psd files allowing you to place visual elements on each layer that then can be manipulated in depth. But that's not all, now you can use grayscale layers (_MAP layers) to map the depth within each layer. This allows you to create realistic volumetric effects and have continuous looking depth from background to foreground. This eliminates the cardboard cutout-like layered depth you typically see.

Also new to Virtua 3d is support for sequential frames within your layered image. Using _SEQ layers you can do effects such as 2D/3D, volumetric depth, flips, animations, morphs, and more.

For creating and applying true 3D volumetric effects from 2D layered files, allowing full control over displacement down to single pixel level, displacement by layer and displacement by full composition.
