Just went through all this looking for plant and tree generators myself. Ended up buying xfrog which seems like an excellent application, just trying to learn it now. Here are are a couple links for some rescources that you might want to check out, some are free some are not.[

....do we have a resource thread? Like maybe everyone sharing their favorite places? Mine is davegh.com.
Also any breakthroughs in vegetation? I have billboards...and a few things in poser....have seen Xfrog but its $...what I want is to make various plants that are completely poseable. Xfrog the only one...or will it do that? Like taking an old pine and twisting branches.....or creating an old gnarled trunk........
