A while back I asked for advice to make realistic lightning for a bryce scene.  I got a few suggestions and what I finally settled on was free hand a bolt in paint program and the convert it into a lattice in bryce.

Maybe someone can improve on this.

Thanks for ideas in the past.

Now my question is how to make a bryce tree appear to be bending in the wind ????
Ideas anyone????

I saw your post..  I did a lightning lattice as a background to a lighthouse...  I think I was the one.. you ask... but.  none the less.. you did a great job...

trees bending.... back to PSP... half image and half drawn...  how close to the camera will the tree be??

The lattice you used for lightning works great for bent or knarly trunks, too.  Make your lattice trunk, then add a Bryce tree for the leaves, and hide the Bryce tree trunk in or behind the lattice trunk, or boolean it off.
