Hi, Does anyone knows some software that helps me to find content in my poser library (with about 60 gb of content today) ?? i use win xp 64 and poser 7

Poser itself doesn't have a search feature. If you know the name of the content item, you can use the search function of Windows to locate the correct folder - it'll have the same name in the Poser library.

60 GB? That's big. I can recommend organizing the content into multiple runtimes - makes starting up Poser a lot faster.
Quite a hassle thougn, you'd have to figure out what geometry and texture folders to move.
Subfolders within the libraries can also help keep things organized. The main advantage is not having to move geometry/texture folders, and you can move library folders at will (within the content type folder, it's not possible to move a .pz2 pose file to a subfolder of the character library...)

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

I usually find my content using P3dO Explorer

Wow!  That's huge!!!

Here are some of my suggestions on getting organized in Poser.  I use multiple external runtimes and have 42 of them.  Because of the multiple runtimes and the way I organize inside each one, I know what is in each one and where to find things instantly.

You may want to use a robust indexing search. Two that come to mind are:

Google desktop (http://desktop.google.com)
Windows Desktop search (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/desktopsearch/default.mspx)

If you are using vista Windows Desktop Search is built in.

good luck,

The above should have been: The latest beta of Advanced Library has a filename search (on it's index) built in.

I vouch for Dizzi's Advance Library.

It is an indispensable tool for me when I plough through my several GBs of Poser content.
