Hi all,

I'm back from a much needed rest away from everything.
The pic. is where I was staying with only the rhythm of the ocean, the caress of the wind and the quietness of the mountains for company.
I would like to say that I came back with a stunning collection of photographs to show you, but I can't. This one is snap on a compact cam and the light was not great for taking photographs.  Oh and I couldn't be bothered !
Instead I sat on a rock by the sea watching an Otter catch fish for her young, Seals bob up and down in the water and the Heron fishing for his supper every night and all this was what happened just in front of the house I didn't need to go anywhere.
The Hebrides are overwhelmingly beautiful if any of you ever have the chance to visit grab it with both hands. There are white coral beaches, mountains, lochs and the sound of the sea everywhere. Wildlife abounds though sadly I can't tell you what a lot of the names only the few I managed to find in field guides left at the accommodation.

I'll catch up here later, sorry if I missed anything.
I'll reply to IMs asap.

Richard.

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Sure is a great place to Chill and yes I can understand you.. There are times when in the natural world of such places when it is best just to take it all in..

It appears to be a perfect getaway spot. Glad to hear you unpluged from the world and just 'existed' for a while. We should all do that more I think. Welcome back!

Welcome back, Richard. I've always wanted to visit the Hebrides, I just couldn't squeeze it in on my trip to Scotland.  Glad you had such a wonderful and relaxing time there.  :^)
