Nemo had asked about "Box Mapping" hair with Steve Cox's UVMapper. Here's a version of JeffH's WindBlown Hair model box-mapped. The advantage of this type of mapping is to minimize the edge distortion where the seams meet. With conventional planer mapping you get ugly stretching of the texture either on the front or on the sides depending on which axis is chosen for the split. The model is used as an add-on hair piece in this image along with Zorbak's "Karin" and Poser hair models #3 & #4. The glasses came from KateTheShrew's "Kate" model. The poseable shirt by Gabriel Salas is bump mapped with the "NewHair" texture by Debra. The sleeves were rolled up by reducing the X-scale on the forearms. I haven't had a chance to ask Jeff Howarth about re-posting his model so it may not be here long if he objects. (I know, bad netiquette on my part) Thanks for the help on the transparency mapping Nemo. -floydd
