Once it is B&W, there is no going back to the color, esp. since that was the way your originally shot it. The only thing you can do is hand color it. Feel better Chrissy!

OK, thanks Kort but I think it's gonna have to stay B&W if that's the case - no way I'm going to even attempt to hand colour it!!
Cheers

Hi Folks
Now before you all go shouting at me for not reading the tutorials (I have!), be gentle as I'm still very ill with bronchitis!!
I have seen that there is a way to convert B&W photos to colour in the tutorial section but this entails downloading another piece of software and looks quite complex (and to be honest, I didn't like the colours after it was converted??!!)
My question is...... is there any way that this can be done in PhotoShop at all?
I was taking photos on holiday in the local bar one night and they had a Billy Idol tribute act on. He was great and so were his clothes - all white shirt and black leathers, bleached spiky hair etc. I instantly thought that he would make a good "model" in black and white and I much prefer my camera's own B&W settings to converting it to B&W in PhotoShop (only because I still haven't mastered the art of doing so yet!!).
Anyway, I'd just switched my camera to B&W when Mark, the bar owner came on stage to harass the act, as he did most nights - in a comical way. He was dressed up in one of his silly "tart" outfits with a long blonde wig and bright red lipstick all around his mouth LOL!!
I have a really good picture of the two of them but it's in B&W and I think, with the lipstick and all, would look much better if converted to it's original colour - phew!!
OK, now you know the whys and wherefores, does anyone have a solution??
Your help is always appreciated.
Hugs
