Subject: Lens distortion effect in Poser?

I'm planning to use a thin cylinder prop to represent a lens. Obviously, transparency is no problem, but is there any way to build a lens-like distortion into the transparency - something like a magnifying effect?

Attached Link: working magnifying glass

the link has a working magnifying glass (second one across at the top), just hide the casing and handle in the material room, then you have a magnified lens.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

I was struck by the similarities in our avatars, BTW, but mine's prettier than yours...
