Subject: Clearance Items available for how long

grichter ( ) posted Sat, 21 July 2007 at 9:26 AM · edited Mon, 02 December 2024 at 7:28 PM

Items marked as clearance items I assume are about to be removed from the store to make room for new items. If this is true when an item shows up as a clearance item how long is it still available for purchase? Of course I might have a complete misconception of what a clearance item really is and why. If so can someone explain it better to me.

thanks

Gary

Items in the Clearance section are available up to 60 days after their last sale.

The minimum time they will be in Clearance is 60 days.

I hope this helps.

How are we as buyers supposed to know when that period starts or finishes?
As far as I can see there's nothing on product pages or elswhere to indicate a time period.  :-

There isnt a way for the buyer to tell when something will be deleted from the Clearance section.

Here is a direct link to the Whats New Clearance section.

Each page in the MarketPlace has a set of links right above the page number your viewing.
These links are for Whats new, Whats Hot, By Ranking, Exclusive, On Sale and Clearance.

Go to the main store seacrh,

http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php

look across the top, right above the pages and or just below the select vendor, top seller pull downs

You should see what's new, what's hot, By Ranking, Exclusive, on sale and on the far right Clearance links.

Reason I started the thread, is being new to poser, I placed some things in my wishlist or the data base I have here to buy later. When I got around to wanting them and or had the funds, poof they were gone and marked no longer available forsale. Just don't want that to happen again. Figured out if you look in your wish list here and see a Red C next to an item, it is in the clearance section.
