I thunk someone mentioned coffe a bit back. I had to cut back on coffee cause it gives me acid reflux. Don't know which makes me crankier, acid reflux or no coffee. Stands back and throws buckets of cracked ice at folks. :)

If no air-conditioning is available, do you have a fan? I used to take a damp washcloth and pat myself down with that while sitting in front of a fan and it was soooo wonderful..next best thing to AC

And here in Tx the heat and humidity is sometimes suffocating.
