I was wondering how to rotate wood grain and how to  change grain  to fit the object.

In this piece I call "Vanity" I want the grain to go sideways and make it smaller in the mirrors top and bottom piece.

You'll need to UV map the objects in the vertex room, or, create a duplicate shader and change the grain orientation if this is a procedural texture. Mark

mayor mcCheese is looking very dapper in his top hat IMVHO. if those wood pieces are box-mapped, ya might be able to switch the grain orientation.
