As I have a soft spot for 3D characters I wonder if theres somewhere a listing over the different characters (humanoids) thats been released for free or commercial purposes.

Standalone or hybrids (not including the standard poser peps).

Any help is welcome.

There is such a listing and a thread about it was posted here a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately I can't remember the title or the thread starter but I'm sure someone else will be able to help you out.

Im so impressed with character makers, cant help thinking that theres where the real art is, when i get a new figure to my hard drive I get the same feeling as when I buy a new painting or a new record.

All you have to do to fix that is add him yourself. Someone should really make that a Sticky THread it's got some really useful information for newbies in it!

The focus of that thread discriminated against humanoids, preferring pure strain humans, doubtlessly for some Nazi-related purpose. Maybe we should build a more comprehensive list integrating the humans and the humanoids for a full spectrum of cultural diversity.
