Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 03 1:41 pm)
If you create an Image_Ma node, in the material for the Pool, and load your background image into it, then you could plug it into the Reflect node of the PoserSurface. THen set the Reflect Value to 1, and change the Diffuse Value to 0. Actually as you play with the Rflectm Refractm and Diffuse values you'll note their total value should not exeed 1, per the Fresnal rule of effect.
Else the backgroud image would need to be on a prop, like the 2D square Miss Nancy suggested, or moreover an all encompassing environment, like a Room, or a Sky Dome"
Ajax's Dystopia, at DAZ has a nice free Sky Dome.
The only catch to using a SKy Dome is that making the texture for it can be tough, unless you happen to own Vue.

Does anyone know how to make a background reflect. I am trying to create a scene where the figure and the background both reflect together in a pool of water. I can get the figure to reflect but the background (a simple 2D picture) will not. I may be trying to do something beyond the programming. Any help is welcome.
