In Vista, here is your Folder hierarchy that should have been installed by Vue Esprit. It is also the place where all of the extras you create are usually stored instead of in the main Application folders, which are in the C:Programs Files Folders;
Desktop
your name
Documents
e-onSoftware
Vue 6 Esprit
Atmosphers
Color Maps
Extras
Materials
Objects
Pictures
Plants
Scenes
Test Styles

e-onSoftware or Vue 6 Esprit
Didn't realize I had waited this long before checking my emails!
Many thanks, keenart, for the file breakdown, very cool and will be printed and in my "What to do when you turn tard!" notebook! Believe me when I say, it's big, it's thick and it's cracking the foundation of the house! hahahaha
Thanks again, it's was more help then you'll ever realize!

Ok, new to Vue...got Vue 6 Pro Studio running on Windows Vista.
Now, I was trying to install some new stuff last night and all the vob and mat files were put on the desktop. The installer said they would be put in a folder in the document folder, which would have been cool with me if there was a Vue folder in the document folder, or at least have asked to make one.
I've looked through the manual and used the search (help) section and can find nothing about the file tree break down on where files go within Vue.
Does anyone know where a listing might be of where the files go, and also, can I add folders within Vue or do I have to make an external folder like Poser?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
StevieG
