program or photoshop action... there's alot of icons at http://www.dockicons.com/index.php I want to use on my Aston Desktop, but I need them to be a quarter of the size.. (they are 100x100 I really want about 25x25 to 40x40)

Irfanview (freeware available at just about every shareware site) would be the easiest. It will resize everything in a directory as well as allowing other changes (dpi, brightness, sharpness, etc.). The keyboard shortcut is hitting B, Add All, and Start. You'll first have to set the Advanced Options to allow changes to image sizes, but it remembers those settings for other batches.

It's not that hard to do batch actions with Photoshop. Start a new action, click record, do all the things you want, hit stop, and then run it through the Batch command on the file menu.

My visual indexes of Poser content are at http://www.sharecg.com/pf/rgagnon

tried that.. but whatever I came up with, needed me sat here to press OK every so often for each pic.
not what I wanted lol.. I just want to point it at a folder and say 'resize all to this size' and it does it..

I'll see about Infranview..*

I didn't know that about Irfanview....I love that program already and this will make it even better.

If the question has anything to do with 2D images, the answer is Irfanview.
Best graphics program ever written.

I just wish somebody would pay Irfan enough to write a Poser equivalent...

SImplesizer
 by Chippwaters

Details:

*This app will batch resize BMP, PNG, GIF and JPG files. You just drag drop the files or folders of files onto the app and then press the button and you're off and running. You can choose the folder to save to as well as (of course) set the destination size.

It uses my 'MagicCarpet' architecture which keeps it updated. So, if I ever add new features, you'll find out quickly. When it launches, it does a quick check for new updates, and asks your permission to install them. That's ALL IT DOES over the internet.*

If you're jusing XP, on the Microsoft site there is a Powertoy utility for picture rezising available. Yuou can change the size of one or more pics at once only by using the right btton of the mouse. There are standard and custum sizes possible.

I haven't tried their image resizer (didn't even know they had one until I was checking for the link) but I absolutely love their image viewer. (I'll be downloading the image resizer when I get home)   😄

Attached Link: The Gimp

Here's one...most of what Photoshop does, and free. I've resized things with it on several occasions.. (mainly the dreaded 'your image does not meet our requirements, please press back and try again...;)

don't feel bad...I have Blender, and the only thing I use it for is Discombobulation (greebles) and sometimes metashapes...;)

If you have Gimp, under Image, is Scale...choose your dimensions...but it's just an idee...;)
