DS and AM are free, too... (I am an AM fan - not convinced about DS, though, and it wouldn't count as a Poser purchase, even if it were a purchase.)
I am grateful to Colm at RDNA and to Dimension3D here for their morphs for Miki 2, TY2, Sydney and the G2 figures. I couldn't compile a list of ten, though.
Microsoft hardware "rock solid"? Do me a favour. Two Microsoft keyboards in quick succession packed up on me completely. They had rather a lot in common with rocks, to be honest. I had to resort to a quaint, old DELL thing, which plugged into the back of the system unit and is still going strong. The MS mouse, though, I grant, is also still in business.

*well I've ha 2 keyboards in 10 years. both M$. the first, was a first edition Ergonomic. which was third hand when I got it in 2000... the only reason I'm not using it now is because a kitten dumped a can of ginger ale into it and burnt the membrane.
the keyboard I'm on now is a M$ comfort 1 wireless... and nothing wrong with it at all. solid reliable and very easy on the batteries.
I suppose it's like all things. your experience may vary....
(before I got M$ keyboards I went through several Cherry and Logitech Keybaords. they never lasted more than a coupla months.)
I don't know about keyboards, but my Microsoft wheel mouse was the best I've ever owned.

#1 Poser 6 - Made p4 look like a tinker toy. LOVE Jes, best fantasy model ever. and, i'll say one word "materials".... that says it all.
#2: Terragen - Simply THE best terra generator ever IMHO
#3 Bryce 5 - The simplest to use, most vivid color optioned background creator on the planet.
#4 Rubio's sheet (rubio's room, i think its gone now). I hold onto this thing and keep a copy on CD just in case. The most versitile item in the Poser universe. Make it dynamic, conform it, rotate it, scale it, it can be anything from an ascot to skirt tails, to a cloak to a head veil. I LOVE this thing and it was totally free.
#5 All the free hairpainting tutorials on Rendo: Yes, thank ya lord! I can paint hair, yes I can, and I don't have to see anymore Koz or Daz hair on my figures. The joy, the rapture. And yes, again its free!
#6 V3's Injection dials! Totally underused IMHO. Natural looking boobs, non skinny stick arms, dynamic realistic faces, yup, there all there IF the dials are used to their potential. Even a J-Lo behind, woot!
#7 Daz MFD. This dress I've ressurected about 40 times, and with my own transparency maps, and textures, it never looks the same. Matter of fact, other than two pictures, no one has a clue its the MFD.
#8 Wacom Tablet: Nothing gives love to postwork like a wacom.
#9 Apollo Maximus. Nuff said, love that guy.
and finally #10 My cheap dollar store ashtray, so I dont have to stop working and actually empty it out every hour LOL
