Subject: No Quotation marks or Apostrophes?!

Svarg ( ) posted Sat, 15 September 2007 at 9:57 AM · edited Tue, 19 November 2024 at 12:13 AM

Surely this is an oversight. The new look is fine, but these marks are necessary for meaning full text, right? Or should we not quote anything or use conversation or contractions? I hope this will soon be addressed.

Can you give me a URL showing a specific example of what you are referring to?

Thanks

Are "You" talking about marks like these?

I'll try some here as a test.

The quotes, etc. work fine in comments, but not in image descriptions.  See the conversation in the description of this series:

So if you're telling a story the quotes and aposrtophes are shown as diamonds with question marks in them.

Thanks for your rapid response,

You will need to go in and edit the notes and it should work just fine now. There was an update made several months ago that affected some things in the the notes section but if you just go edit then it works just fine and uploads done since the upgrade should be fine as well. I went and edited just the place where the first "" were and as you can see, it looks right now:)
