Is it just me or did the option to have blogs on Renderosity just come out of nowhere?

I mean I have started my blog and I see that some others have too but I don't see a thread discussion about the blogs in general.

Of course I want to use mine to discuss and track my designs and their progress but I thought strange that I didn't see a thread for it.

Is there a link to our blog that we can put on our pages?

I have others have added photos to their renderosity blog

i think there was an announcement about it, but quite a while ago, they have been here for ages now.

Why they did it? Google for "Artzone", "DeviantArt", etc... ;) IMHO though, you're best off doing a blog (if you want to do one) somewhere that isn't so closely tied to any vendor, esp. one where forum threads tend to disappear (even recently) w/o explanation (or even mention), no? /P
