I created an elf for Aiko, then saved the head as a morph only Then applied it to Laura and when I moved the morph dial to 1 this happened, when i put the dial back to 0 Laura's head is normal again Is there a way to correct this??? I know how to fix the eyes, but how do I get the head back to the propper place Thank You Steve

I created the morph in Poser and just moved the dials
I tried restore head and it went back to Laura's head

At some stage of exporting the morph, chances are you did not unselect "no world transformations", given that you're doing everything entirely within Poser.  Given that your elf is evidentally much taller than (correction) Laura's default, the points of the head are trying to move up to the elf size when you apply the morph.

I thank everyone for their comments so far

pjz99:
when I exported the head I tried every combination possible either checked or unchecked
everything turned out the same way when I applied the morph.
I even tried "Shapeshifter" which  put the original Aiko head on Laura, but when I tried the morph it did the same thing.

Is there any way I could edit the cr2 to stop this and if so How?

Thank You Steve

yeah, I reckon the problem started when ya exported the morph, which included the y-displacement. in the old days we would try to fix this by matching the body sizes and positions of the two figures, as with making conforming clothes fit a figure for which they weren't designed. but I don't have laura or even know what it is, so I can't be sure. was that a freebie somewhere?

I don't have any other suggestions for you except maybe to try asking in the DAZ forums.

Thank you for your help
I decided not to use Laura, I am in the process of redshaping parts of Aiko to get the size of body I want.
Thanks again

The easiest way to fix this is to import the morphed head as an obj, align it with Laura's head (as close as possible) and export the obj again, with everything unchecked. Then load the morphtarget again from the newly exported obj. That should fix it :o)

It's annoying as heck when this happens :o) I once lost my best Snape morph this way because I'd tilted his head just a little (and I had to give up realigning it)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
