There is an upgrade for BodySudio for C4D.You can now import Poser scenes to C4D r10.----!FOR 99 DOLLARS ????! I HAVE TO PAY 99 DOLLARS TO UPGRADE from 2.606 to 2.700 -only for getting my scene into C4D 10 ? This is a rather impertinent offer.

if you dont want it. dont get it.
if you dont want to pay that much , dont get it.
if you do want it & dont mind paying what they want. then do.

Reiss never did condescend to even respond to my emails or tickets.  I had my bank dispute the charge.  ^_^

Try interPoser Limited (or better, Pro).

Of course I DON'T want it. IPP is great ,but I am missing to import dyn Hair and Clothes with a Poser preanimated Scene.IPP works best when you simply ignore Poser and set up your scene inside C4D.

There is a plugin that's free to import poser stuff into cd4.....riptide is what its called.

Ever stop to think, and forget to start again?

For still or animated cloth, interPoser Ltd or CinePoser LT would do the trick here.  Just remember that for animations, you'd need to export all the frames as Wavefront OBJ and still have a reference Poser scene for C4D import.
Dynamic hair is another story due to its more procedural nature.

The main problem with both of these, similar to IK and Shader nodes, is the procedural complexity.  In order to import these, one has to actually have a framework to do the procedures - that is, do the cloth or hair simulations.  Poser only stores the basic information needed for its simulations and because of obvious differences between Poser and C4D simulation algorithms, using the latter's to recreate the former's would not be worthwhile.

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
