I wonder if there's anything in this program that I don't already have in Corel Painter, Dogwaffle, PhotoShop, DeepPaint(2D) and Zbrush...
Download my free stuff here: http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.php?page=2&userid=323368
heh, maybe I'll have to add TwistedBrush to my ever-growing software library.

Looks a decent program, but looking at the screenshots on their site, yet again I see a graphics software developer develop a god awful colour palette for their app!! Artists want colour wheels...it should be a core basic for any graphics app!
Sorry, but it just anoys me to see such a basic requirement not even being considered.

--------------- A life?! Cool!! Where do I download one of those?---------------
LOL, ...on steroids, I like it.
yeah, Project DOgwaffle has fascinating particle brushes, you can even find it in the freeware version 1.2 but they're more advanced in PD Particles ($19) and PD Pro. (currently on sale at 29% off through the 29th).
You can find some tutes here:

and
www.thebest3d.com/pdpro/tutorials <<< look for Fun with particles
One thing I like in Twistedbrush is the brushes which feel a bit like clay modeling, like painting metaballs. They're called meta blobs I think.
Ken has also added support for Lua scripting in a recent version of T.B. Pro Studio, so you can share Lua filters with others now like Dogwaffle, the GIMP and Artweaver. See www.thebest3d.com/dogwaffle/lua
I'm starting tutorials on using Twistedbrush and Dogwaffle together. www.thebest3d.com/pdpro/tutorials/ptb

If you like a choice of color wheels try PD Pro (Dogwaffle). And then try the Harmony color picker, wow. and then try the color Mixer, and you'll feel like a real artist again. Where like on a real painter's palette you can add dabs of paint color and mix and blend them into the 'wheel' and make your own color palettes like in the real world..... ok, without the occasional spills and funny fumes.
