did you Check the Force.net? usually the 1st place to go.

Somehow I get the image of robots with Crew cuts, yelling "To Infinity and beyond!"...;)

Where do you find 3d models at theforce.net?
I looked around for a while and didn't see any links for 3d at all.

Cosmic-pearl site had some nice models. I might be able to use the spider and put metallic shaders on it.

something changed since I was last at theforce.net. years ago it was easy to find the free models. if one of them reads this, perhaps they can explain why their search function only returns "news items". perhaps hoag's site has some starwars stuff. vanishingpoint.biz.

huh...2,000+ sites..I should check more often. Yeah, they had dozens, mostly in max or lightwave. Had each building of Mos Isely (the silent Isley Brother...;) as an individual mesh. Surprising it's not still there...sorry 'bout that, Chief..;)

I actually found numerous Millennium Falcon models at www.scifi3d.com/. I hadn't seen one of those until now.
