Nothing in FAQ that I can see.
I get notified when a friend has posted but I cant see where I turn this feature off?! In my profile I have unchecked the receive email nesletters etc etc from this site.

This is to avoid the 100 spam emails Im getting daily. They are coming through with Rosity Notifications of friends posting. I dont want to know the whys & wherefors for the spam.... I just want to turn Rosity notifications OFF.......... ALL of them!

then next to compose message is "email notifications: on [turn off] "
click turn off

If you are talking about your gallery favorites you go into my gallery and click on favorite artist then on the right besides the artist is a turn on/turn off notifications. They have to be done one at a time. 

If it says turn notification off then they are turned on. If they say notification turn on  then they are not turned on.

What exactly kind of emails are you getting?

Sandy if I click on the frind it takes me to their freinds page. If I click manage friendds all I have is a remove friend.

All sorts....your new Jobs...nigeria scams....fake bank emails...lottery emails...all are false money scams or identity scams.

I just deleted 32 caused by your reply notification to this thread.
Eevery time I get a rendo notification its followed with tons of spam!

you can choose not  receive post's by unchecking the notify me when someone replies right below this box. 

You can also unsubscribe to the forums at the top of this post where it says subscibe or unsubscribe. If it says unsubcribe that means you have subscribed to this forum.

Also in your forum options you can uncheck any forum you don't want to receive ebots from.

BTW this morning the email was lighter than usual so I took a screenshot....note the rendo notices & time of spammage...one follows the other.

in that it looks like most of the spam came before the rendo ebots.

Sandy so your saying that the ebots are creating all that other junk ??!?!?! UK Lotteries etc etc....
I never used to have this problem & only used to get 1-3 emails  day, if any.

This morning I had 62 spams.

hmmm.. I unsubscribed to this thread yesterday. Ive replied & then noticed the option to unsubscribe was there again.......Ive now unsubscribed again.

Query: I may have used browser back key to get back to a previous page...this houldnt have affected the subscribe to forum issue....would it?

no I am saying that the time that you received the junk mail is earlier then when you got the Renderosity mail if you look at the times on the side. To me that says it is not us as they were sent before ours.
