Subject: Panning in Vue Infinite

offrench ( ) posted Sun, 14 October 2007 at 10:49 AM · edited Sun, 25 August 2024 at 5:08 PM

Hi all,

I have only started playing with Vue two weeks ago, so I may be missing a lot of things.

I tried a demo of Vue Pro Studio, then decided to purchase Infinite.
I use the 3DSMax interface in Infinite.
I am unable to pan view by right clicking them as I did in the Pro Studio demo and as indicated in the manual.
How can I do it?

There is no configurable shortcut for this.

If you use the Max interface, then the panning shortcut is the same as in Max.
If you want to change it, go to menu, preferences, 3rd tab gives a list of shortcuts, navigate to the Pan shorcut, and then change it back holding the right mouse, by deleting the existing shortcut, and doing the operation you want to the shortcut to be ( meaning, you just hold down the RMB, don't try to write anything, just do the action)

There is no "pan" action in the display zone of the shortcut editor.

But I switched to the Vue 6 default interface which is quite nice.

Yes, there is, go to the 3rd tab, and in the list, go to Triggers, at the bottom of the list.
