I did this before but can't remeber how
I take a poser figure and modify it in a 3d app, then save the figure with new name
open the cr2 file and change the name and file location,
now open pose and load figure, but it is invisable ?
thier was a topic on this and it worked but I can't find it anymore some thing about changing a line
or to in either the cr2 or obj file any one know ?
thanks in advance

Usually this happens when the Group names in the OBJ don't agree with the Body Part names in the CR2.

Modelling programs have a nasty habit of adding their own numbers
and extra words to the names of groups!

I have also seen  this happen when importing a grouped object. The object is then arranged into a figure using the Hierarchic Editor in Poser 7. Saving out the new figure as a character into  the New Character folder.
When brought back into the scene, it is invisable.
In my case, it usually was a result of having only a body part selected in the editor instead of  Figure1 when creating the character.....
Make sure you have the whole figure selected when creating the character in the Hierarch Editor.
