Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 10 10:34 am)
To answer part of the questions: with what you are doing with a catsuit and transmaps is OK. Now here is where the problems arise, getting the painted, costume, area to look real and simulate an modelled item. Personally I use very little second skin textures for that reason. Just some food for thought while you are experimenting.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

Imo...If you are using Aiko's mesh as part of your product, then I believe you are violating the EULA. What I mean by used is if any part of Aiko's original polygons are part of your product.
Now if you just used Aiko's mesh as sort of a guide or dummy, and you built something around that mesh...then you are creating brand new polygons and you would be okay.
I'm not a lawyer and if you have any doubt I would encourage you to contact the company and ask, they are more than helpful over there.
Hope this helps

A while back I opened the Aiko obj in truespace and deleted several parts, the proceeded mold the item around Aiko (it took me a long time, so I will never do it again) to create a simple cat suit, with no legs or arms etc. I then ran it through UVMapper and created a map, took into Photoshop and painted in certain areas, and then created a transparancy to take care of the other areas. That is how I came up with the outfit above. My Question is is using transparancy maps on a full body suit proper or rather cheap. ( I am looking at putting some things in the market place)
And if it is ok to do this...I am looking at Deminsion3d 2nd skin...would I be able to sell the obj and cr2 that is created with it... I don't have it yet, but it looks like it would be save me weeks of molding items around a figure
Thank you
