Hi all
For a short time, I have uploaded the first chapter of the Bryce/Carrara movie to youtube. The character animation was done in Carrara (using mimic for the mouth sinc) and the rest is bryce in this chapter.
It was rendered in layers and assembled in After Effects where special effects (such as the blowing sand on the planet) was added.
You may find it interesting that the shot of the planet from orbit took almost a month of rendering with bryce, mostly due to the cloud rings around the planet. This shot was composed of almost 20 different bryce renders layered together to get it all put together just so.

btw, a huge amount of the quality has been lost with the youtube compression, but you can get the idea.
how many pokes at bryce can you see in the first chapter (all tongue-in-cheek and in fun)
:)
