Subject: Using Digarts textures with Vue

offrench ( ) posted Thu, 22 November 2007 at 3:05 AM · edited Mon, 09 September 2024 at 5:34 AM

As I had the Jungle DVD from Digarts Gardenhose in stock, I wondered how I could use it with Vue without having to paint trees and foliage as I am not very good at it.
I finally found out a practical use of these texture sets and wrote a tutorial: creating custom leaves for Vue trees. The tutorial works with one of Digarts freebies.

Here is an image done using this technique for the trees (using apple blossoms from the Jungle DVD) . I did not use this technique on the grass, but it is also possible.

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Thats for the great tutorial.  I have most of the Digarts products - this will be another great use for them.

@bobbystahr
thank YOU for your suggestion. I had not realized I could post tutorials there without copying them entirely.

As a head's up to any member who isn't prone to reading the header, the tutorials link up top leads directly to the Vue section, but if you are looking fo help on any subject, once there click [main page] and it will take you to the Main Index...also searchable....use and enjoy, I know I do.. ...
