Subject: Smartpropping different figures

Hi there,

I'm not so familiar with figures and poses, as I'm a modeller, but now I'd like to make a smartprop suitable for 4 different figures. Ben, James, Jessi and Kate.

Well I have to pose the object for the right hand, but when I save it as a smartprop, do I need to save another smartprop for each other figure? Or is it possible to place some sort of detection script in the smartprop to choose for wich figure you want to use it?!

Thanks in advance!

If the position (as given by the xtran, ytran, xrot, etc) is actually different for
each figure, you'll need to make separate PP2 files for each.

However, for something held in the hand, you may be able to find a
compromise position that will look "about right" for all the figures......

A script probably wouldn't work because the names of the figures
are undependable.  (Some figures don't carry their names in the
CR2, and the user can rename the figure.)

[Speaking of scripts, would you like a random spinner for your
roulette wheel and Wheel of Fortune?  If so, PM me.....]
