Why can shoes not be made to fit by copying the joint settings from the figure to the shoes?

They can providing that any preset bends or translations are removed. For this zero the shoe and use the Poser menu Edit > Memorize > Figure. You may also find the on screen video tutorial found at the foot of this page helpful in setting up the joint parameters for shoes.

Thank you.

I was converting a pair of v2 ballet shoes to the sadie figure because someone asked for them.

After I copied all the joint settings and conformed them to sadie, the shoes stayed in their default position, slightly under sadie`s feet.

I will try again using your suggestions.

I don't suppose that you could make that video a little larger could you?
Even with my reading glasses, I find it very hard to read anything in the Poser Gui.

Thanks

I tried to download the Poser_Joint_Parameters_Tutorial.zip from your site and got this error message.

I wasn`t downloading anything else from your site at the time and it was open in only one browser window.

If you click on the picture you will see the larger version.

Just above the link that you would have clicked on is this text:-

Please note that these are on the office server. Connections may be limited. You may need to "try again later".

It is now "later".

Try again :)

Sorry, I thought that it might have been a problem with the link.
