a new problem has developed with vue.

when i move the sun it has no effect on the lighting in the scene.

in fact, if the sun is visible in the preview, it does not even move in the preview or render when i move it within the scene.

it did this last week and a reboot cured it. not so tonight.

any ideas?

thanks

I guess you mean only the visible part of the sun but not the light direction or color/intensity. This should change when you move the sun.

Well, this is normal behavior. I reported this to e-on in generation 5 already and got the answer that this is as it should be. Sun light is parallel so there is no real point from where the light is emitted, even when you can see this point in the sky in real life.

One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.
