Subject: Avi editing?

Hello, does anyone know of an avi editing program that can reduce the frames, say by a half?

That is, the amount of frames, not the size of them.

Thank you, but there must be a free program that can do it, it is a fairly basic video editing operation.

I have to say that "virtualdub" is one of my favourites and to top it all its completely free.
Dont know if it automaticly can reduce the number of frames but many people creates plugins for the proggy and they are availble at the site.

http://www.virtualdub.org/

Theres also a release called virtualdub-mpeg2 who handles..... mpeg2   :-)

Regards / Jonny

Thank you.

I already use virtualdub but I wasn`t sure if it could reduce frames either.

I didn`t know about the mpeg2 thing, it should be handy for dvd making.
