Subject: Thumbnails too small!

FranOnTheEdge ( ) posted Sat, 08 December 2007 at 8:13 AM · edited Wed, 22 January 2025 at 3:27 PM

How do you get a thumbnail small enough to upload to the gallery yet detailed enough to be able to see something in it?

I've been trying for the last hour - and failing.

Help???

now that I've finally managed to get the thumbnail to the sizes stated on the website - i.e it's 15KB and 200x188 pixels - and a thoroiugh load of rubbish it looks too, but now that it's the right size, I still can't upload -I keep getting that - the thumbnail is too big - type error message - and it ***isn't!!!

Help help!!!***

Took a bit of fiddling though as I hadn't used that feature before and for a while there - I though it would only do .gif!!!

Lol!

Thanks for the help - saved my sanity if nothing else.

It depends on what paint software you are using. Here are some links to tutorials to help you create the perfect, clear thumbnail :)
