See evidence above.

I was experimenting with Jessi G2's default ultimate  texture and couldn't help noticing the scar (a thin red line, neat job) on her right side. it isn't caused by clothing, her left side is completely smooth. It is visible unrendered too.

Part of the original photorealistic texture or maybe an "easter egg" added by the texture artist ?

I'll have to check the other G2 ladies too.

None of the other G2 ladies have this feature. See render.

I don't think  so :

  • a bikini string cut (if that's what you mean)  ?
Then the cause wouldn't be simply wearing the bikini for the cut would be symmetrical. Who would be wearing a bikini cutting that deep anyway ?

A mark left by suddenly pulling / yanking the bikini ?
To recreate such a temporary mark on a texture would be even more weird than a permanent scar.

I stand with my first point of view : someone performed surgery on Jessy G2.

I think Pakled meant c for cesarean section scar.

I am not a medical expert but i think that for a caesarian it is too far to the side and too small.

But that would be surgery too ...

Just for the record, Miki 2 isn't a G2 lady.

I meant G2 in a broad sense, as in "successors to G1".
Also the select club of G2 ladies Jessi G2 - Sydney G2 - Olivia G2 (still in the works ???) was once publicised as being able to share "everything". As it turned out they are not, so I consider the also differing Miki 2 a righteous member of that club.
If they ever release Olivia, as a true African type she should be totally different too, like Miki 2.  And that is the problem I guess : going from 1 leading lady "Posette'" and "Judy"  in P4 and P5 to 2 leading ladies in P6 (Jessi and Miki) and then to 4 leading ladies (Jessi G2-Sydney G2-Olivia G2-Miki 2) in P7 is somewhat overkill.

All personal opinion.

The problem with that usage is it confuses people when it's totally unneccesary to do so. G2 was a special brand of upgraded figure that all shared the same body mesh. Miki is NOT G2 in that sense and it confuses new users when you go around saying she is.

You don't go around saying Mike G2 and Mike G3 or Vicky G2 and Vicky G3 and Vicky G4 because those are DAZ figures, even though they are second and third generation. Why confuse the issues and new users by doing it for the poser default figures?

When you do call Miki 2 a G2 figure, invariably some new user comes along and starts complaining because Miki 2 can't wear the G2 clothes they bought for her. See what I'm getting at?
