Subject: New Bryce Tutorial - Caustics On Lights

Not sure if anyone's interested but I just uploaded a new Bryce tutorial on how to use and make caustics.

The tutorial explains this in relation to my recent image "Rock N Roll Night" and includes creating light rays too.

There is also a companion file to go with the tut, which has the caustic lights in bryce .obp, a rock .obj for use in the project, plus two image patterns to use as caustic patterns for lights - or for anything else actually.

The tut is here:

And the companion file is here:

Thanks.  If you spot any problems with it, please let me know.  I've tried to make it simple enough for newbies to follow without (I hope) making it too simple for more experienced users.  But it's hard to tell when you're writing it.

This is excellent... a good refresher for me... Some of you may remember I used Caustics way back with Bryce 5.0 for an underwater Dolphin scene which I never completed... its kind of been stuck in the W.I.P Stage. :)
