Hi, not a lot of us use Carrara, compared to Poser, but i'm here, and this is my latest experience at discovering face and hand expressions. It's blunt, so don't comment the message. I'd like comments about the animation and technique. I want to get better.

Nice animation. Did you model the character in Carrara?

All models from "The Dorkers" project are purchassed here and there (renderosity, daz,...). I do everything else, but the models... are beyond my actual competence.

How did you handle the lip synch?  Does Carrara do that also?

Recorded my voice.
Put my voice thru Mimic PRO 3, that generates a lips pose file
Import baby model in Carrara
Import Mimic generated speach pose into the base model
animate and render.

I  have Mimic 3.1, but it doesn't seem to want to work under XP 64 bit.  It is nice to know Carrara will work with it though.

That is REALLY cool! I just started to play with Carrara... no animations worth looking at yet though... :-)

Thanks for letting us see what is possible!
