Well here is my girl in her full body tattoo.
Still need to do some litle touch up's but most work is done now.

Making the seems match and dealing with the skin stretch in some area's was the most work.
The main tattoo's are actual Japanese woodblock prints, the rest is custome made to fill in the gaps.

After I finaly will have made the painting with her, I plan to put the skin up as a freebee.
The Katana is home made in Blender and need some work to to make it look better, (After I found out how to do that :lol:) and will probably also end up as a freebee.

These are really well done.
There was a thread a few months ago about tattoos, about making them appear "under the skin" and not so painted on.
I think bagginsbill had some useful tips.
Again, great work, I know how hard this is to do as well as you have.

Yes it realy took some hours, the stretch and seems on some places where realy a pain in the place where the sun dont shine.
Especialy on the back, where the skin is split up.
It took quit some time to deform and match the back painting.

After I made the abofe renders I worked on the "looks like painted on" effect by duplicating the skin layer, put it over the tattoo's and brought the transparentcy down.
With that layer being transparent, it looks a bit that there is a layer of skinn over the tattoos.

I will sure check out the tips, maybe they give a better effect.
