I noticed something odd: two people commented on my photo 'Hiking on the Greek Island of Samos# 67'. The comment couter went up with 2 comments, the number of viewing did not change: it was on 17 viewings before and after two new comments. Something does not add up, so to say. Not that it's very important but I noticed this peculiarity... 

This can happen if the same 2 people had looked at your image earlier but not commented on it.  Then gone back and put the comments on later.  The system only counts a persons viewing once.  It does not matter how many times they view it after the first time, the counter will not go up.  I hope this makes sence.

No, as far as I can see it does not make sense because the two people who commented always comment on first visit. They are not the sort of visitors who take a look and come back to comment later. Also they almost always comment on my images...

maybe you viewed the counter when they were actually leaving/writing the comment.

So the counter had gone up one when they clicked on your thumbnail, but would have to wait for the counter to go up again for a comment as it takes time to comment...

No, the counter was on a certain number, for instance 17, two added comments (=viewings) later it was still on 17! I noticed this phenomenon several times before but did not pay attention because it's a minor thing. Now it happened two times in a row... funny.

It just happened again with a new post: 6 viewings, then a comment added; result: 6 viewings in stead of 7! Weird!

Refresh your cookies i have the same problem, if you refresh it should work.
