No ist not it KILLED my poser 7 my poser 6 and screwed up my Carrara ..

Poser 6 and 7 completly crashed due to V 4.666 ...
So i can spent many hours reinstalling ...

Not cool at all

She - he runs like a top in DAZ Studio and I loaded her briefly in Carrara 6 and that was fine too!  😄

I don't have any problems so far, but I haven't tried Carrara or DAZ|Studio.

Haven't installed it yet, not sure I will at this point!

I think DAZ fixed a couple of things with this new release like the morphtool, so I think it is more poser7 friendly (which is positive) on the other hand they added a couple of new features like the male morphs and the possibility to inject all the morphs seperately This could be positive if they didn't also add a lot new obscure and not documented (as always) features, they forgot to mention, but were very neccessary for their features add-ons, like Aiko4 and probably also M4, Hiro4, the Freak, Lucas, Laura, Sara, the girl, the millenium cat,dog,horse,dragon, the complete songbird colllections and not to mention the kitchensink for the dreamhouse (as both the genuine american as the eclectic one) so they could all take the same basic mesh and texturemaps.
Which of course would lead to problems, issues, and whining and moaning customers.
But like my late father explained to me : the level of misery in the universe is a constance.
In other words: the happiness of having a new toy is always spoilt by the moment it breaks down.

DAZ studio Is the only place I ran her through.  I experimented with Collada exporting out of D|S, and now I have fully rigged fully poseable animatable morphing V4.2 inside 3D Max. Worked like a charm :D

It worked well with Apollo too.

... tried the male morphs ...  Some strange stuff happens when bending/twisting the arms.
I intend to make some morphs from 4.2 and apply them on 4.0. It's more stable  IMHO

Since I updated Vic 4 to V4.2,* * I can't open the almost completed pictures I had done previously with V4. ,I'm talking about endless hours of work, here! Poser can't dind a lot of files, if I try to use a V4 DAZ MAT. Most of the time I am lucky if I can get Poser to work at all. It drags, goes blank a moment, slow, etc. I am pulling out my hair and knashing my teeth! What's more, Smith-Micro said there is no support for Poser 6, so I am at a loss. :'^(
