Subject: Great software to convert and burn Avi, Divx, Xvid, and other formats to DVD

Thought i'd share this info with other Poser folks and animators.

I just bought a portable DVD player thinking i'd be able to show my animations after burning them to a DVD. I found out that most portable DVD players won't play .avi, divx or any of the video formats i was using so was i disappointed!

So --as usual -- knowing the answer was online i asked the logical question about playing avi on portable DVD players, ran across this software, downloaded the trial version and found out it's pretty cool.

Total Video2DVD Author  -- Convert, Author and Burn Youtube Flv, Avi, Divx, Xvid, Rm, Rmvb, Wmv, Mpeg to DVD Video Disc, simply and directly.

I use Nero 8. there are a few out there. I got nero with my computer so I just upgraded for cheep.

This is easily achieved on the mac using "mac the ripper"
or handbrake or Visual Hub, and apple's Built in I DVD
