Subject: Image map question(sort of).

I've always wondered exactly what the background section of a 2D image map was for. I've tried changing the color and even adding different nodes to it but it doesn't seem to do anything. I guess i'm in a curious mood today as I usually just ignore it.

Try the following:

  • set the U scale and V scale of the image map to a lower value, like 0.5;
  • set the Image_Mapped droptdown to None or Alpha;
  • and start playing with the background section.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
