Subject: C5Pro question - How can I do ..... ?

nyguy ( ) posted Mon, 18 February 2008 at 2:05 PM · edited Tue, 05 November 2024 at 1:35 AM

I am trying to make an outdoor scene, I have created a land prop and have trees and grass already. What I am trying to do is make an animated waterfall. Is there a way to do this in C5Pro? I am not worried about mist from the waterfall, I just need to make it look like the water is running down.

As GKDantas mentions, you can do this with a single object with an animated texture map. Another option is to use the Particle Generator. There are some presets to get you going if  you haven't used it before.

Okay I am able to make a fountain with the particle effects but who would I make a waterfall with them? Are there any tutorials or can someone walk me through it?
