Pinup-This
Well, since most people I know are here instead of in the galleries, it's another shameless plug - go look!

I dunno, Connie.  I hear he's got a feather.  Those can be torturous.

As long as your shameless plugs are for really good work like in this case, and you start your thread with a good, visible "OT: ", I think he won't .

Well, with Sam being such a cutie... I was kind of hoping he would....
[oops, did i just say that....]     :blushing:
And on a serious note, I wasn't sure if doing this was against some rule I wasn't aware of...

I'll respond to the gallery comments here, since I see majority of the people that commented are from the forums...
Yah, I can draw, sort of... I wish i was better at it. Drawing that piece was not easy, sort of pushed the limits of what I can do (at the time).  Dasquid even recognized the body builder... I had completely forgotten who she was, but I still have the magazine clips that I used for the picture, and he's right! (You can up that 98% to a 100%)
Thanks a milion to everyone for taking a peak it's encouraging me to keep at it :)

Big hugz to everyone - those of you whom just lurk too!

It is disconcerting - more than that, depressing, very very depressing - that your submission is already snowed under and has no chance whatsoever of appearing next to the day's collection of most commented/most favorited shit.  And I use the word "shit" here in nicest possible way.

Your drawing is easily the highest example of real skill and craftsmanship for the day that I've seen, not just for the day but actually in quite some time.

Awwww, thanks a bunch :)
I don't know that good of a piece, but I think it's pretty decent, which is why I dared to do the shameless plug. I don't do it for all the stuff I make.
Plus, I've been saying that I can do other things, now I have an image in my gallery to back up what I've been saying.... And sort of care that you guys, people with whom I interact on daily basis, get to see it.

If I wanted more exposure and commentary, I'd probably go and spend few days making comments on every image in galleries (which often causes people to come look at your stuff),
But, it takes way too much time and energy.... And making high volume comments on peoples stuff... after 4-5 images, I no longer know what to say, and start sounding like copy and paste comment people.

It's be nice to have more people see it or get more comments, I'm always curious what people say, but on the other hand, I to don't care for copy and paste comments. Not to a point that I'll be up in arms about them, but I also won't put in the effort to seek them.

I may dare to ask people in 2D forums to have a look at it and give me feedback... but then again, if I poeted there, and in the critique forum, I'd feel like I'm really mooching for comments.

And if I really wanted to maximize exposure, I probably would have posted it during the time of the day where the number of people looking is the highest (not lowest)

Great pic.  It really reminds me of the fact that no matter what one can create using something like Poser or DS, there is so much more freedom for those who can use a pencil and paper, or a brush and canvas, or such.

I enjoy doing things with Poser and I actually like doing problem solving with limitations (I'm also not afraid to create my own texture, do postwork, or do whatever I need to get my image across) but honestly I envy someone who can communicate in the unadulterated form that is allowed with the 'old ways'. lol.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the image.  Oh, you had said it got squeezed in the scanner.  It would be nice to see it at its proper proportions.

Cheers!

Thank you, you're just too kind! :)

Lot of times I like the look and feel of more traditional mediums. Even with Poser, I often sketch ideas when I'm thinking about something... or just to record the ideas, to develop them later :)
