Subject: is vue multithreaded?

nemirc ( ) posted Tue, 26 February 2008 at 2:21 PM · edited Mon, 15 July 2024 at 3:24 AM

Hello :)

Ok, I am getting the "Vue Espirit special" this week, but I had a question. I have 2 different computers, and the main difference is the number of cores each one has. Is Vue multi-threaded? I figured that if it is, I could very well install it on the multi-multi core one, but since I haven't found that info on the website, I just wanted to ask :)

Thanks

Easel, Esprit, and Pro Studio will use 2 cores/processors; Infinite and XStream will as many as you have (source -> http://www.e-onsoftware.com/products/?page=chart).

There's a section on the same chart that deals with render farm nodes.
