DAZ is giving away money for winners of a Hair making contest to owners of Cararra 6.1 who grab the update and create a new hairstyle with the new hair tools in 6.1. The winner get's $2500 in prizes and DAZ get's your hairstyle as a new marketplace product.

Hmm. Hair sells for what say $16.95?
150 sales and DAZ makes its $2500 bucks back.

I think more than 150 people buy hair....

Well it does say:

"The winning hair style will be available for everyone to download at the end of the contest."

and i don't see any mention of it becoming a market product. Seems more like a cool way to drum up some interest in C6/C6.1 then anything else to me.

Yeah I probably misunderstood that to mean they would be selling it. My bad. Still looks like a fun contest. I mainly posted to let folks know about the update to 6.1 anyways.
