Vue 5 Infinite does not have an option for Poser 7 import (7 came out with Vue 6). By getting rid of the older versions of Poser, I think Vue is still looking for Poser 6. You may need to re-install Poser 6.

Thanks Peggy,
I was hoping for a different answer but I guess Vue uses the Poser exec to import files, so it makes total sense that V5 would not be able to read P7 files if the Poser format has changed since version 6.
I did revert to exporting P7 in OBJ format and that imports fine into Vue. It took some fiddling with transparency masks but the end result was satisfactory.
Still, I will probably install P6 for convenience as you suggest.

Thanks nruddock for the input . . . I don't remember the directory structure for P6 that well. What subdir and/or files from P7 would I copy to the main Runtime directory?

Hi All,
I recently did a disk cleanup and fresh install of Poser 7 only -- got rid of all previous versions and misc files. Poser is set with no compression, no external morphs and works correctly.
I have not changed anything in my installation of Vue 5 Infinite. I told it where to find poser.exe, as always, and expected to be able to import Poser files but no such luck! Even older P6 files which used to import smoothly will not work since I re-installed P7.
Vue 5 Inf is up-to-date with all latest upgrades / patches.
Any troubleshooting tips greatly appreciated.
