plane1.jpgplane2.jpg Everything is a vertex model except the engines. It took forever to texture. Things would have been a whole lot easier if i could have defined different UV map methods within the same polymesh. Its a plane that paratroopers jump out of. Im just making this up, i dont know anything about planes.

Very cool little plane ! There is a way to split a single polymesh without affecting its geometry in order to ease UV mapping. It's simple : give a name to a selection using the "name polygons" function, and the polymesh will split into different groups once exported in the OBJ format . Of course, this is useful only if you define the UVs with UVmapper . You should have asked ! :) litst

Cool model! Because it's not exactly aerodynamic, I think it looks more like a hybrid space-ship / airplane -- kind of like one of the dropships in Aliens or one of the troop transports in Starship Troopers. It's very cool, though. And kudos to you for using the Vertex modeler.

Yeah, I think it had a neat little sci-fi feel as well. Nice work.
