Subject: How To Group Figures in Max ?

Hi All,
From what Ive read it appears that most of you that make clothes do the grouping in your modeling app. So to group in 3DS Max do you model the parts separately, or do you make the figure and then cut it up somehow. I havent been able to figure it out.

I model in Max.

What I do is model the entire outfit, then cut it up in different meshes. Each mesh gets named for the group it is meant to be.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
