I've been working on an image lately and the .pz3 save file for it topped off at about 473 or so megs the last time I saved it.  I don't mind the size and such besides the time it takes to load and save, but I am wondering if it were normal for the files to get that large and if I can expect them to get even bigger.  I've got the room on my HD for now, but if I start having a lot of half-gig saves, that's going to start dissappearing.  Is this sort of thing to be expected?

Do most people delete the save files when they are done with an image or do they save them so they revisit the image later?

I would say that is fairly common, depending on what figure, textures, hair, clothing you are using. The thing about saving a pz3 file is it saves everything in the scene. Now, there is a pyton script, morph delete, if memory serves, that gets rid of a lot of unused information thus reducing the file size. Haven't tried it myself but from what I have read others have had pretty good luck with it.

Bear in mind that a Pz3 contains nothing more than text, and
it's VERY repetitive text.  Which means that it will ZIP
down to about 1/10 of its original size for storage.
