It comes free with issue 102 of 3D World. Go get it then!

Just had a try of it, and it is very fast, and works excellently. And of course anything that is free is a good thing too. :thumbupboth:

Load in an image, select the plugin. :-)

There's some ImageSynth video tutorials here:

While they're geared for use with the Modo modeler, there's still some good ImageSynth info there. I should mention that some of the videos are quite large (128MB!)

Thanks for the heads-up on ImageSynth and on the tutorials as well. The app is listed for $99
on their website. Is there any limitation on this free version? I'm anxious to try it on some textures from some of the many good free texture sites. I saw a nice review of it at creativemac
http://creativemac.digitalmedianet.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=69057 and it looked like it was just the thing for making seamless high rez textures!
